Storage & preparation

Before mixing
Store the freeze-dried vial in a standard freezer (-20°C).
After mixing
Once mixed with liquid, keep it in the fridge (2–8°C) and use within 28 days.
Preparing the vial
Supplied as a freeze-dried powder and commonly prepared using bacteriostatic water before research. Add the water slowly down the inside of the vial (not straight onto the powder), then swirl gently — don't shake — until it's fully dissolved. Once mixed, keep it in the fridge and use within the time noted above.
